Rihanna's hair! It's grey? My guess is that when you have money and you get bored, you can do whatever the hell you want! That's the vibe that I get from her! lol Me, personally, I like it on her! I think to keep her looking young with this hair color, she is to wear make-up at all times! lol. I feel like the hair can  make her look decades older if she doesn't wear any make-up.




This is my deal... Rihanna is definitely a trendsetter and a lot of young women look up to her for style inspiration. Why do I feel like there are going to a lot more grey heads in a couple of weeks?! lol.

Well, you know my saying... If you have the confidence to wear it, then wear it!!

Rocking statement nails have been one of the hottest trends of the summer!! Now, it is more to just having acrylic nails and cute nail polish. They now have the crazy prints and designs, you can even add bows and mini pearls. Here are some celebs and some hot trends of the summer!

It is the perfect time to have braids! It's hot and humid, and who had no time to mess with my hair was ME! It's very convenient and allows me to sleep a few extra minutes in the morning!






My braids were done by my sister and the process took about 6 hours. Time actually flew by and plus my sister moves pretty fast.

Before she started, I washed and conditioned my hair. I did sit with the conditioner for about 10 minutes due to the permanent color I had put on my hair. I'm trying to have less breakage as possible when I take my hair down. I did not blow dry my hair. My sister and mom prefer to braid the hair while it is wet. My guess is that it blends better with the added hair.

Happy 4th of July everyone!! I hope you all are enjoying your time with family and friends and eating some good food! While I got the day off from work, I decided to do a post on my favorite lip colors of the summer so far! All of a sudden I am obsessed with lipsticks!

Lip liners
Plum- Mary Kay ( I wear this liner with my purple shade lipsticks and nude lipstick.)
Chicory- MAC (This liner goes well with just about any lipstick! It blends very well!)

A girl at the MAC store taught me a trick about the nude lipsticks. She said the you can make your own lip colors just by using lip liners! Ok, call me late, but I thought that was pretty cool!!

There is a trend that is out right now  that you would normally see in magazines or down the runway... The colors like green, yellow, and even turquoise are being put on lips for the everyday looks! Shout out to the girls who have the confidence to pull it off!  I'm not sure if I will ever go towards those colors. Right now I think I just going to keep it safe!! lol
