Who Run the World: Curvy Girls

12:27 PM

So much has changed since my post The Plus Size Era there are some curvy women who have and are still fighting to change the fashion world! Take Whitney Thompson who was the first plus size model to win America’s Next Top Model (Cycle 9, 2014), Ashley Nell Tipton who was the first plus size designer (2016) to win Project Runway, and Ashley  Graham who was the first plus size model to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated (2016).

Project Runway Winner  Ashley Nell Tipton

I recently got a chance to style my photographer Dashown in this fun, back to school inspired look. It’s casual but still a show stopper. And who says curvy ladies can’t wear crop tops? As long as there is a balance where the top is short but the bottoms are high or you can accentuate your waist by tying a shirt around the waist. You’ll be fine! (Secret: Dashown works behind and front of the camera! She use to be a model!!)
