Karl Kani came and conquered the runway this past weekend at Houston’s Iconic Fashion Week. Jaw dropping responses from guest as the reveal of wind breaker pants, classic oversized sweaters, and new signature bras from the latest Destiny collection, went down the runway.
Who didn’t love the Golden Era of 90s urban fashion where women could pull off baggy clothes just as good if not better than the men?! This time around it gets better by adding a pair of heels to keep it sexy!
Houston Iconic Fashion Week sheds new light on the fashion and entertainment industry on the southern coast by providing a new path for industry professionals to reveal and showcase their best collections. The attendees also included Project Runway season 15 finalist, Laurence Basse, comedian and actor Dulo, and a host of many fashion industry professionals.
In addition to giving the guest an exclusive sneak peek at what to expect for the fall, “The Originator” Karl Kani was given the Iconic Legacy award for his contribution to the fashion industry.
