Hey ya'll!! I'm so glad tomorrow is FRIDAY!! I hope you all had a good week! For this week's feature I give you wardrobe stylist Joseph "Jay" Harris from Dallas, Texas. Joseph was a referral, and when I was given his facebook page I automatically said "I need to feature him!" lol. I like how he creates stylish looks for the office. Every woman can appreciate a man in a good suit, right!?! Now let's take a closer look at Mr. Harris...


One word: Avant-garde.  I really attempt to express my style with great pieces that most may say are too contrasting but I have found comfort in mixing different styles, textures and patterns.

Honestly I don’t really draw much inspiration outside of what I have within but if I had to answer I suppose I will say traditional and classic menswear.  The “Suit” is the thing to ever happen to men’s clothing.

Bachrach, Nordstrom’s, Banana Republic, Q Clothier, Neiman Marcus, and Ted Baker.  My style differs for each occasion.

I am not much of a trendy guy, I follow the business motto usually.  My casual dress is preppy, I wouldn’t say trendy for me considering the fact that I have been dressing that way since I entered private school almost 20 years ago.


If I could style anyone it would be Michael Jordan.  The reason why is cause most people think he dresses nicely, but as a stylist you see flaws in every man’s dress game.  Although, I know he wears his clothing just the way he likes.  I would attempt to introduce to him something a little different.  The reasoning is because if men see him wearing it, they will spend their last dollar to get it. So it’s kinda a marketing thing also. Lol.

For every man there are a group of essentials that are necessary not matter your professional field:
Every man needs that staple suit. Since we are in modern times, I would say go with charcoal grey, it provides so much versatility.  (Black isn’t need as much anymore)

It is time to show case this week's feature for my March Men's Fashion month! This week I bring to you Jamar Copes aka Flaw from Pocomoke City, MD. I ran across Jamar on Instagram lol! I like how he can transition into different looks. I must say that I'm more of a fan of his polished and tailored looks! Well here Jamar is to give you a piece of his style story...

How do you define your style?

Effortless and free spirited is how I would define my style. I really put on what I think looks good to me and don't care about other opinions and the crazy looks I get at times. I also would say colorful, my outfits have to pop. I'm a huge fan of color blocking.


Yes I'm very much trend setter. Being from a very small town where everyone dresses alike I always love to separate myself and stand out. My high school days I use to hand paint every outfit for everyday lol it was a lot of work but people caught on to it and wanted to do the same. Now days anything crazy I try or experiment with like mixing prints, color blocking, or mixing vintage with new age usually catches people and they follow.


Brush, Loafers, Slim Fit Jeans, Nice Watch, Deep Cut V-Neck....I gotta keep them around at all times they are perfect for any event.

Style is sign language to blind critique the don't see your vision.

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great week! Guess what... It's almost spring! It's one of my favorite seasons because you can mix and match your winter and summer clothes together! lol. It's warm enough outside side to break out the sandals and dresses but still cool enough for a cute blazer or cardigan!

Now, I'm usually a fan of leather in the fall and winter but it looks like the trend it not ending this year! Living in Texas tho I'm not sure how long we are going to be able to hold on to that trend! Me personally, I don't think that I would do the leather pants because I am bottom heavy and I don't want to add more attention! lol. But I will certainly wear a leather jacket or a fitted skirt. I even think the t-shirts with the leather patches are nice.

I haven't told you all yet but I have named March men's fashion month! I thought this would be a good idea and I know it will definitely broaden my audience! Along with showing our celebrity friends I will showcase some of our everyday show stopping men!

And who was better to start the month off than my friend Jeremy "BaileyTheItBoy" himself! Jeremy is no stranger to the blog! Check out his early post here! Well here he is now giving us some insight of his personal style!

How do you define your style?
I define my style, Conservative Trendy. And honestly, I am scared often to wear certain looks. I mean I can put on a skinny suit and look fresh, I can put on a t-shirt and still look fresh, I can put on a hoodie and look fresh, and so on and so forth.

Kanye West is my style inspiration. I think Kanye brought a whole new style to the game, and he make me feel like it’s cool to be myself. I can wear my leather pants. I think he was like, “Yo, Bailey, it’s cool that you want to dress like this.”

My favorite store is TOPMAN. And when I am ready for a straight off the runway look, I spend my coins at ZARA. When it comes to brands, I am no label queen. If I like it, I get it!

When you’re a trendsetter instead of following the trends, you really don’t give a f*ck about anything and just do what you feel.

Is this a trick question? Kanye West, duh. I mean the job would be easy. The man knows what he likes to wear, all I would need to do is get the clothes to him. And, I would get to spend time with him.

Fashion is about good energy. It’s about feelings. That’s what I have to give the people, good energy and good feelings.

     This past weekend I was in Houston for the Spring Fashion Showcase by BPW Enterprises. It went pretty well! It is always a pleasure getting out meeting new people and seeing what new talent is out there. I must say, I seen a lot more of  a variety in this fashion show. I seen designs that I could wear everyday and some that I can wear for special occasions. It amazes me at the imagination that some designers have! Just think, it all starts with a thought, next it goes on paper, then you act on it, then after some time it comes to life! lol. But good job to all the designers, the models, and everyone who played a part in the show!

This time was a little bit better as for as preparation for me! Though, I did not get a press badge AGAIN! I had a good seat in VIP and my sister/PR camera got the job done! Well, somewhat... I promise I'm going to do better! Anyway, here are a few looks from the show. Enjoy!

Hey everyone! Just one more day of the work week then cheers to the freakin weekend!! I hope everyone had a good week!

I'm here to give you a quick hair update! At the moment I do have a few peices sewn in. I have had it up for 3 weeks now and I will be taking my hair down tomorrow. Hopefully there has been some growth! Between now and mid May I want an 1in and a half or more growth.


At the moment I do not have a relaxer. My last one was in October I think?? I am going to wait until it gets closer to my birthday ( May 27th ) to get another one. Until then, I'm going to continue to get weaves, wear a couple of wigs, and get my seneglease twist again.

I have been looking into getting me some virgin hair, finally! I have found a few hair companies  I wouldn't mind purchasing some hair from. I'm really looking into getting to brazilian straight. I want that option to curl it if I want but I would want to mostly wear it striaght. I do want to purchase bundle deals ( 3 or more ). I have to have that fullness when I get extensions! Nothing makes more more angry than seeing a young lady with a skimpy weave!! I'm going to put some links below just in case you all need some help also!

I love the ombre' trend that is in right now! There is a young lady that I follow on youtube who did an amazing job on her hair! She ombre' her hair blue and it doesn't look ghetto at all! Considering my place of employment I don't think the blue is going to be a good look but I would definitely try it with with another color.

Check out Peakmill as she ombre' her virgin hair! It has a little too many steps for me sooo, I might just get mine professionally done! Enjoy!
