Blended All Too Well

7:04 PM

This is a quick hair post on how my hair is styled at the moment! I have a weave people! This is what I like to call my "usual". This is NOT a full sew-in. I have about seven pieces sown in and my hair is mostly out at the top for easy parting.

My hair was washed and dried before installing. When my sister does my hair she usually flatirons my hair and the weave as she goes. When my mom does my hair I usually flatiron my hair when she is done sewing in the hair.
Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of hair do you use?! The hair is called Laila. It is a yaky texture in 16 inches (I like long hair!). Me personally, I am not a fan of Remy hair. I like the fact that yaky hair looks like my natural hair and blends exceptionally well. Many people make the mistake of thinking that this is my REAL hair and I love it! ; )

NOTE:  This brand of hair is not in all beauty supply stores. If you live in the East Texas area the hair is from Sun Shop in Tyler, TX.

Any products used?! I try not to use any products on my hair or the weave hair until about a week and a half since installment. I feel like when you add product it starts to weigh the hair down and is not much body in the hair anymore. But, once I do start to use anything I use Neutrogena Total Moisture hair lotion, Bio Silk, or Motions oil sheen.

How long do you leave it up?? I usually leave my hair in for about 3 weeks.

Do you plan to use any Brazilian or Malaysian hair in the future?? Yes I will. I do plan on doing some more research on the Brazilian hair only because I want to make sure I'm getting my money's worth! I know there are plenty hair companies to choose from and I just want to make sure my hair is LEGIT!
